With the upcoming release of Microsoft Office 13, Microsoft is encouraging developers and administrators to use open Web technologies such as JavaScript, CSS and HTML to build their add-on apps.

I personally feel this is a good step by Microsoft to get rid of their 20 years old VBA development model. Also it helps both pro and seasonal front-end developers to get involved in Office add-on development using their favorite open web technologies.

Cyanogen Mod 9 RC1 is released. At the moment the update is provided only for 37 devices including Galaxy S2 & S3. The list of the devices given the update can be found here

I really love Cyanogen Mod 9 ROM as a replacement of Samsung’s ROM for my Galaxy S2. I did had a look at many other ROMs after getting the device rooted like ICS Resurrection Remix, AOKP ICS & ICS OTA but was not happy with any of them until I got hold of a CM9 nightly build that really works. The only issue was there was not new line implementation in the SMS Composer. Search the web but no luck but actually it was a matter of doing below steps:
